There has been continued success at the Kuched Primary School. The new building was underway, while new additions like pavements, a new gate, and gazeba were installed. The passionnate effort from teachers and the dramatic improvement in the attitude of students were seen by village residents and neighboring village schools.
The success of the Kuched Primary School inspired other invdividuals to contribute to the cause. To better centralized the effort, Tiny Smiling Faces registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tiny Smiling Faces raises awareness of the problems government primary schools face and the improvements that can be made. Many supporters and village schools show interest and want to be part of the change.
This school neighbors Kuched Primary School. Ambheti Primary School is a fairly large school that teaches about 165 students everyday. This school has always done well with the support of individuals from the village. However, support started to dwindle a couple of years ago. Uniforms, school supplies, breakfast, and plans for field trips are now being provided, along with a bank account with discretionary funds.
